Olivia Carniato is recognised as one of Australia’s most dynamic and in demand triple threat performers, working over the past decade across many of the country’s most recognised musical theatre productions.

In a remarkable run of productions in 2025, Olivia appeared in the role of Demeter in Cats (Crossroads Live), following her work understudying Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls (Opera Australia) and playing the fiery Cha Cha DiGregorio while also understudying Rizzo in Grease (Crossroads Live).

She also served as Dance Captain for Elf The Musical (Crossroads Live) at the Sydney Opera House, following the national tour of Chicago (Crossroads Live/Jones Theatrical Group), where she performed in the Green Room Award nominated ensemble and covered the lead role of Roxie Hart.

Olivia was an original Australian cast member of Hamilton (Michael Cassel Group) and Pippin (Gordon Frost Organisation), covering the role of Berthe. Her other credits include Velvet Rewired (Rix Management and Entertainment) alongside Marcia Hines, the Australian and international tour of West Side Story (Opera Australia/GWB/BB Group) as Consuela and understudy for Anita and Rosalia, understudy for the Mistress in Evita (Opera Australia/GFO), and The Bodyguard (Gordon Frost Organisation).
