Jake Silvestro is a multi-disciplanary artist who says yes to as many things as he can. He is an acrobat, a coach, a drawer, a director and a performer. Known for his acrobatic style of movement combining elements of circus, theatre, dance Jake has toured with the internationally successful Circus OZ, Legs on the Wall, CIRCA, We Are Rooke, Casus Circus, Dislocate, Company 2 and more. He has tried to seek out many different opportunities in the Australia circus sector to learn what its all about. Jake founded Poncho Circus in 2012, an independent circus company that toured circus shows throughout Australia.

Jake is passionate about theatre that uses circus to tell stories and create settings that inspire audiences. He aims to push acrobatics within his own training to utilise these skills in a variety of performance settings. Jake’s circus specialties include floor tumbling/acrobatic movement, group acrobatics and cyr wheel, but really, he loves to do a little bit of everything. When he isnt on stage, he is either walking slowly with his camera or riding his bike quickly through the bush.
